Hi Guys

Yes I believe the issue should mostly be fixed, most people should have allot faster speeds. It was fixed around 17:10 today.
Very tired time to go home and have some dinner.

PS: I contacted a customer and their speeds went from 1.55mb down to 15mbit down after the change was made.

Thanks
Bevin Smeith

Good job Bevin!

Am trying to convince my parents to go on this plan (over that $75 Telstra offer on atm) so any ideas how to do that?
They're still not convinced about the great customer support you can get if you go through GZ, the recent speed fix is a testament of that.

Also something else (but not wanting to steer off topic) I've been trying to get my mum to switch to Gmail from her current paradise/actrix email accounts, is there a way to fwd email from these accounts to gmail?
PM me if you have any ideas, don't wanna take this off topic and the question alone isn't really worthy of its own thread!

Abnormally high pings too. 70ms+
Normally 20ms

Oh wait... Now it's just totally offline altogether. Shame.

The outage affected me too.  I did manage to get through to the customer support to ask what was going on but was told they had an issue, it was fixed within 20mins, and if I'm still having issues to get myself a new router.  I went out and got a new router while at work the following day but by the time I got home that evening the net was back up.  Luckily the store let me return the router.

Please discuss the Slingshot outage in its own thread here.

Make sure to look at the forum when posting about something such as outages in an existing, different topic thread.

Sorry guys... but why is the 250 more than the unlimited???

I went from being capped and high speed to the unlimited at low speed and its making me wonder. Sure.... I'n getting more data and maybe i'm just imagining it I'm pretty damn sure I was always sitting between 10 - 20mbs and now whenever i check it below 5 - and cuts out an awful lot.

Right now (at 3am on a thursday) its below 1Mbs -WTF??? It seems so much more unstable now too. Should i be paying for my gigs one by one because less than two weeks into plan change I'm noticing subtle frustrations like waiting for emails to load

I just feel slightly scammed. this great picturesque winner of package which is now starting to look like a dried up morsel with bare essentials.
