muppet: I had an icon pop up on my landline at home once. Rang Telecom, they couldn't help. Rang again, they still didn't help.

In the end I burnt my house down.

That fixed it.

Should of nuked it from low orbit. Its the only way to be sure.

I myself don't have an S3 but a young at heart original S1 running a custom ROM (SlimICS which I see supports the S3 now) that has the ability to seperate National Roaming from International Roaming.

Being in Wellington I don't roam very frequenty but last weekend I drove up to Wanganui and cant recall seeing the data roaming warning notification - I had data on throughout the trip.

I have seen posts on XDA a while back about editing code to add national roaming carrier details (through terminal etc) to stop these warnings also, but I didnt see a definative guide for NZ.
