Would anyone know how to get rid of it?

Tivo upgrades to operate with the new OzTivo EPG, support and service. Over 400 performed here so far. See: www.hillcrest.net.nz
Spong: I had the same problem when I first joined 2Degrees ages ago. It turned out to be a setting in the LG phone I used at the time (P500). Can't remember where it was in settings, but it was something I'd toggled on somewhere in network settings. Turned it off and no more messages from then on.
IMHO, Stay with 2Degrees, it's well worth it.
Publius: I presume you are referring to the "you have lost data while roaming" message.
Its because you have Settings -> Wireless & Network -> Mobile Networks -> Data Roaming [ ]
Set to ticked/enabled
Of course you will then be using data from your national data pack.
sbiddle: It is purely to advise you that you're moving out of a 2d coverage area and roaming on the VF network.
If this didn't occur there would be large numbers of posts from people on here complaining that they're using roaming data and annoyed they aren't being told about this!

Even when the phone is sitting at home on my drawers not doing anything?
If thats the case, Telecom on monday. Least i know i'll get decent coverage and not have to buy pack after pack just to be online.

As mentioned in your other post, Blenheim isn't a mobile broadband zone - hence you'd probably be better off with either Vodafone or Telecom as you can't take advantage of the cheaper mobile broadband rates (and instead pay National 3G data rates of 50MB for $6, 100MB for $10 or 50c per MB).
kyhwana2: Note that unless you have a quad/pentaband phone that does 850mhz 3G, you'll have to buy a new phone to switch to XT!
avecha: To me it seems like quite the hack job to release a network that most people can't even utilize properly.
