Switched my wife over to this. She was previously on the 50/ayce/500 plan (forget the name - 19text or chat or something). Never went through all of the minutes or data, so we're not affected by the loss of the top-up deals.

This way, she'll still never hit her limits, but she'll be banking her unused minutes, all for the same price.

I'm trying to think of the downside. Unfortunately, I'm on the 19data plan now for the 600MB data so I'll stay on that as long as possible.

The "500 MB NZ National Data" Am I been paranoid in thinking that international traffic is not included? So only nz based sites are included? Surly not.

"NZ National data" means any Internet Data that you use on your phone with a 2degree's phone while you're in NZ wether you're roaming on vodafone towers or 2degree's towers..

kobiak: Only when NZ cellphone operators will allow buying everything separately and let me use packs for as long as I have my bloody 50mins/1000txt/500mb

would it be nice? $10 per pack and just use it when you need it!

have to agree. I go to the supermarket and buy cereal I put it in the cupboard and use it till it's all gone, then buy some more. I don't get the supermarket coming and taking away my unfinished cereal at the end of each month, or have to buy another packet before I've finished the first one to stop them taking it away

....and yes I could have put this in any of the Telco forums.... this was the current one running

At least 2 Degrees are coming up with new plans and Aussie calling etc included

If network capacity worked the same way as cereal or any fmcg type goods this would be a great point. But it doesn't, so it isn't.

I know it doesn't so it isn't.... but I'm not sure why not. I've paid in advance for "Capacity" but they take it off me before I use it  ??

Because you can store breakfast cereal. You cannot store traffic capacity.

just playing "Devils Advocate" now, as it is what it is... but perhaps they shouldn't sell what they haven't got. Would you say it was more like airlines over booking seats on a flight instead of cereal, I know it p*&^s me off if I get to the airport and they say "sorry no seats left" even though I know I booked and paid for one
