Great to hear they've got it sorted.

Agreed, when talking to enable on the phone they defiantly were making use of those logs.

Now live on 30/10 plan.

Enable tech phd about 1.50 this afternoon to confirm time, arrived about 2.30 or so.

Work completed about 6.30 after a few technical difficulties with their compressor running out of puff when blowing the fibre through.

Ph call to Snap at 7.15 to change fritzbox settings, took about 5 mins on hold to get through, once contacted tech support, changes made to settings in about 5 - 10 minutes.

Quick speedtest done, 25mb/sec d/load, just over 10/sec upload.

Great stuff, will be interesting to see if it finds the last few mb/sec to get to the 30 limit.

Have managed to max out at about 27mb/sec.

Tested P2P with a popular file, came in at about 2MB/sec, very happy, not that I P2P much but quick enough if I do look for something.

Netflix streaming has gone to a whole new level, "superhd" is now an option, on a 50inch Panasonic TV looked very good, even looked good on my projector with a 92inch screen (better than DVD quality not Blu-ray though). Downside of this is that data useage has gone up. went through 12gb yest watching 2-3 movies and 1-2 TV episodes in superhd, 100gb may not be enough but at least the data blocks are cheap enough.

Hey sen8or, did you have to contact Snap to get it working. Just had ours put in also this afternoon and Fizbox all lit up but net and phone don't work.

If they sent you the Fritzbox for UFB, it should be all set up for it, so long as the cable from the ONt is out on port 1 I think and is in on port 1 on the Fritzbix, should work I would think. Phone is now VoIP, they did have to remote connect to the Fritzbox to get it all set up before we cut off the copper line.

If you don't have joy, give them a call, found their technical help desk very good to deal with

Yea all up and going, only thing I cant get sorted now is Utorrent port forwarding.

Nice to have UFB speeds though.

You might need to activate the advanced view on your Fritzbox.

Somewhere on the home screen once you log in, there is a view function, I think it says "basic", if you click on it, it changes to advanced, this then opens up more options including changing DNS server for unblock-us etc. I can't remember where I found port forwarding, but it's there somewhere
