pretty sure although admittedly my hearing isn't all that good!  The clue for me was hearing the t and s in words sounding a lot more defined and generally everything clearer, also asked my flatmate who is an audio engineer to listen and he thought it was higher quality than the normal codec.

Maybe someone else on 2degrees with an HD voice capable phone could try to see what they think.  I was phoning into AUT - 09-921-9999, another auto attendant to try is AUT Library - 09-921-9665.

JohnR is correct; you are not getting HD voice to a landline. Interconnect links as already stated earlier in the thread are still regular 64k E1s, and will be for the forseeable future.

Does anyone know if/when HD Voice will be supported for my Panasonic MC-CG524?

Soon, I think, but with it's silent 72dB operation you may find it difficult to tell.

Cheers SaltyNZ.  I'm not sure how much longer I'm going to use it, I've found after having it up to my ear for only a few seconds my ear really starts to hurt.  Might be time for a new phone.

What an appropriate non-de-plume you've got there.

An excellent way to start the morning with something that genuinely made me laugh!

Oh yes, you're right. I just tried our test one here and it sucks.
