Constantly getting the error

Backend not available

Often while just browsing websites.

Generally known online as OpenMedia, now working for Red Hat APAC as a Technology Evangelist and Portfolio Architect. Still playing with MythTV and digital media on the side.

So...is netflix worth it? I don't see a way to see their catalog without signing up first? Do they have lots of older movies or just recent releases?

Also, what chances are there that the likes of netflix catch onto this trick and stop it?

Hi

Can you confirm what OS you are using?

Also I see you are enabled for IPV6, are you actively using it?

Windows 7.  Not actively using IPV6.  Hulu now OK; iPlayer OK but no live stream - and Netflix still no go.

Works like a charm! Netflix streaming fine. Guess I can stop my Unblock US subscription.

OK. Hulu / Netflix working on wireless devices so that must be the cause. Although getting insufficient bandwidth messages for iPlayer on iOS devices.

BBC iPlayer TV programmes are available to play in the UK only. Find out why. If you are in the UK and see this message please read this advice.

It only works if its on your Res account not your business accounts? or do you have a residential orcon account now too?
