I am not picking on 2D here, but I think you are being a little funny about it :)

Not at all. If we were, hypothetically, to buy a competitor to get their customers, we would also buy their problems. Don't forget that practically everyone here at 2degrees is a veteran of at least one other major telco already. We know how they work, and are putting a lot of effort into not replicating them (their cons, anyway). We're not perfect by any means; it would be foolish to suggest that. But we have come much further, much quicker than practically any outsider predicted and that puts us in a much better position in the long run than trying to remove the competition by buying it along with all it's problems.

Even if one of the other big Telco could get approval I would not like to see it happen, I believe it will greatly lessen innovation and reduce overall  customer experience.

I wouldn't worry about it. If our shareholders thought buying a big telco was the best way for them to make money, then both Spark and Vodafone are publicly listed so they could have already done so at any time. Instead they chose to build from scratch.

iPad Pro 11" + iPhone 15 Pro Max + 2degrees 4tw!

These comments are my own and do not represent the opinions of 2degrees.
