@2degreescare your voicemail options looks like pressing 3 then 8 will "turn/off voicemail". Does that mean something other than enabling/disabling VM?



Callers will still hear your greeting, but then will hear an announcement stating that they cannot leave a message, and then the call will end.

The biggest problem is that when you have no voicemail, the tone people get when you reject is a busy tone, not a "your call was rejected" message or similar. So people who are not good with phone etiquette will call straight back even when it isn't urgent.

 

 

I don't reject calls. I simply mute the ring by pressing the down volume button once.
