Why do Vodafone always follow, rather than lead? Becoming very obvious that they are no longer first to the market with products or services.

I think because they are a well known international brand they don't really need to compete much.

I am currently on 2degrees prepay and my S9 came with the double top up credit (up to $150). If I were to top up $105 to give me $210 ($35 x 6 months) then change to the $35 a month pay monthly plan, then will my prepay credit pay for the pay monthly plan for those six months? After which, I could switch to a cheaper pay monthly plan to retain my carryover data?

So I will effectively be paying $17.50 a month for the 25gb pay monthly plan?

Just saw this in the double top up T&Cs:

"If you move from 2degrees Prepay to 2degrees Pay Monthly during or after the Promotion Period, your Top-up Bonus will not be transferred to your Pay Monthly Account and will immediately expire."

so it won't work :(

May be it is just me, but the sign up process of this promition seems not as polished as it should be.

I decided to switch both my wife and my connections to 2degrees. The sign up process involves a credit check, fair enough. However, after I enter her personal details and credit card number, it did not say the application is successful or not.

And we get no email since signing up yesterday. Not even a reference number.

Then I do my application, same thing. Did not tell you whether it is successful or not, not even tell me it may need a human / staff to process this after the long weekend.

Another thing is, I think if the applications are successful, 2degrees will send two sim cards to us so that we can port our numbers. One annoying thing is that for the delivery (by courier), I cannot use a PO box address, and someone needs to stay home to sign for it.

I can understand 2degrees may not want to send out an expensive phone to a PO box without proof of delivery. But mate, for 2 sim cards, I am happy for the courier to leave them in the PO box so I can pick them up when it suits me.

P.S. CourierPost do deliver to PO boxes.
