50% off for 6 months on all Pay monthly plans for new customers

https://www.2degreesmobile.co.nz/mobile/pay-monthly/

I only signed up a short time ago to pay monthly so might port back to VodafoneNZ and then port back to 2Degrees for the 50% off offer for 6 months

Wow, that's cheap! I will continue to stick with VF, because whilst they are a PITA to deal with sometimes, I know what I am getting, in terms of coverage, speeds etc.

Almost tempted to give my wife a prepay sim to trial to see how good their Rural coverage is (compared to Spark)

How soon can you port back? The offer is only available until 2 April.

Sorry @Linux, porting out/in or switching to Prepay temporarily will not qualify you for the discount. This promotion only applies to new customers.

And again the long term customers feel slighted 😕

Now for the link to all the Sky-only-for-new-customers comments 🤔

@2degreescare I ported away at the start of Feb to Skinny - would I be eligible for this deal? Also, when I go through the checkout online it has the full price - does this get corrected later or do I have to signup in store?

And its broken.  Tried to upgrade my partners PAYG to Pay Monthly to also get the benefit of the broadband discount; was unable to process the drivers license check and then the website said authorized but was unable to proceed to the next stages!  She needs to top up but I'm loathe to do so as I'm sure we'll then lose the $20 to get the $19 combo

@2degreescare are 2degrees prepay customers eligible for this too? The T&Cs state new customers but I couldn't find a definition for this.

The promotion is for brand new customers, and customers switching to Pay Monthly from Prepay - excluding any customers who were on an account already when the promotion started.

So if I switch my $19 prepay to a $30 PayMonthly I’d pay only $15/m for 6 months... at what point can I then switch back to prepay... 12 months?
and would I retain any carryover when doing so?

@PhantomNVD You only keep the carryover bundles when moving from Prepaid to Pay monthly if you move back you lose it
