its $75 with the $17 discount and 1 year amazon prime, if you sign up for 12 months
as per below the shopping cart upon ordering.
I just called 2degrees and they have made it back to $80 per month as I mentioned it is $80 for new customers

@Oxygen298 This is not Gb but 300/100
well then thats a $19/m discount and to think the customers that are on that plan will have a $16/m discount and will have to pay that extra $3/m making their cost to date $83/m for the GB plan

If the 2degrees website had advised $83 for everyone I would not have called and asked why new customers get Gb for $80
I am a very loyal customer and have mobile with them as well and both my accounts are always in credit

the point is the existing customers already bound to a contract as from the 1st of October will have a increase of $3, making it $83/m for them... while you can resign and get it for $3/m less a month..
surely it isn't that hard to work out?
just like my plan 300/100 $75/m locked in a contract for 9 months will have to pay $78 as the $3/m increase discount will only be for the new customers and will still get that plan for $75/m

I don't find this to be acceptable. If this was someone building a house with a fixed-price contract, would you be saying the same (just terminate and go with a different house builder)?

The issue with this comparison is that it's not a fixed-price contract. The T&C's very clearly state the price can be changed at any time with reasonable notice.
From the top of the T&C's page:
We may change our terms and conditions from time to time, and this may include changes to the price of the Services and/or the way you are able to use the Services.
It goes on to direct you to Clause 15, which spells it out in the appropriate legal terms.

I believe you were publicly looking for a new provider last month.
I am still 2 degrees and quite happy with the $3 increase, but it does really annoy me that we have to call them each year to threaten to leave to get the best deal. I am also unhappy at the latency to the US which at times has been too great to game from. Not sure that by switching providers will make much difference in the medium term. Seems incredible that latencies to the US are now higher than it was before fibre.
how come 2 degrees increase is only $3 when VF is $6

Lots of reasons, sometimes when when the LFCs (Chorus/Enable/UFF/Etc) increase their prices RSPs make a decision to absorb the increase others increase their prices with each LFC increase my guess in this scenario Vodafone chose absorb one or two increases until it wasn't sustainable resulting a much larger increase
