BazNZ: O.K I believe you....but tell me this.. Why did the green human figure appear in Wellington when I'm in Hamilton with Orcon as my ISP and say Wellington is my recommended Server? Yet I switch to a new ISP and the green figure puts me exactly where I should be(Hamilton) and tells  me the recommended Server is Tauranga.  Regardless... my main issue with Orcon was crap International Speeds and bad Latency while gaming... thats the reason I left. I have gone from 900kb/s to 10000+kb/s over night just by changing ISP's. What would the reason be for this? Orcon lacks International Bandwidth is my answer? It's the only factual evidence here and to think I spent months in these Forums, Logging Tickets, Phonecalls to Orcon's Helpdesk, Speedtests, Trace Routes, Ping & Packet Loss tests, Changing Modems, Pulling cables, etc etc you all know the stalling procedure til they can afford more bandwidth. Actually come to think of it...Orcon has gone down hill ever since Kordia took over ownership last year. Sorry to rave on but the months of frustration and  time wasted testing trying to eliminate potential causes of low speeds and latency really annoys me.... now knowing it had nothing to do with my end. Just Orcon Having No Bandwidth ! I certainly don't miss ADSL2 speed results like this......
ORCON

Sorry, I don't know how Speedtests determines what the best server to use works. All I can tell you, is that you are routed via Auckland :)

stormykiwi: Can't say I've had any issues with Orcon thus far. I'm getting a fairly quick speed loading web pages and general internet services , decent ping on wow and decent download speed. I get around 311-455 ms on the Muradin server and can download most stuff I need at a fairly good speed.
i  agree wth th s bro

Lolz please edit the quoting on this stormykiwi. Oh and you appeared to of posted it 5 times - problems after clicking the submit button maybe ?
