We are now waiting for the vendor to make a change that should greatly improve the situation.

cokemaster: @Arwyn I’ve noticed that you referred to Vodafone in NZ (now known as One NZ). This issue specifically relates to Vodafone AU (and probably all other MNVO on Voda/TPG).
Any issues impacting 2 Degrees <—> One NZ will be seperate.
I have had formal notice from 2 Degrees acknowledging the issue. No ETA given.
Opps that was a typing error....I'm on Vodafone AU
Looks like the issue has been resolved. I have starting receiving texts from 16:00 NZDT.
Neil1980: I can confirm this too I just tryed and have received messages
@saltynz what was the problem, I’m glad it’s fixed now thou.
Ultimately we just decided that SS7 wasn't working reliably enough for VFAU so we put them (their number ranges, anyway) all through the international hub. That won't necessarily fix it completely because we don't know about numbers that are ported from Telstra or Optus to Vodafone so those ones are still going via SS7 and may or may not work.

cokemaster: Looking good on my number from a TPG/Vodafone number range.
Will there be a process for non TPG/Vodafone phone numbers to be added?
If by that you mean other carriers, it's up to them to decide whether or not to connect to the hub services. One in particular prefers not to. We can only apply pressure, but we can't make them do it.

If someone was texting someone (currently with Voda AU) from the 0400 range (Telstra), would the sender be able to get that number whitelisted (through customer service) to send via the hub?

Ah, gotcha, yes. If there is a specific number that is failing and you happen to know it has been ported to Vodafone we can route it explicitly to the hub. But it would need to be escalated to operations - Care can't do it themselves.
