Stu1: Wow $5 to hot spot what a joke,

@stu1 not related to PHS at all

The idea is quite good when you get your head around it and they are not charging for standard data sharing

I think the new sidekick plan is like a lot of people who have an Apple i-watch with the mobile version or an iPad which can put a simcard on it... wasn't that in the good old days, it was around $10 a month in addition to the current mobile plan?

What I am unclear of from the website is if you can have more than one sidekick. I can’t seem to add the plan to the shopping cart twice. So either it’s one device limited for $5. Or $5 for multiple sidekicks total.

Not great pricing from 2D, or any of the major telcos now really. Rocket Mobile (My Republic, using One's network) actually seems petty good and offers $8 roaming which a lot of the cheaper providers often skimp on.

Especially so since 2D only offers 1GB data at full speed in USA until they limit you.

another one for kogan, their blackfriday/xmas deals are the time to buy, when they do 50% off.

$165 a year for 15gb a month.   really hard to beat that.  i left 2degrees from the $35 a month plan to this kogan plan last november.  my wife/kids have been on kogan for 2 years before that.
