Have also texted the daughter successfully - which is what sparked this whole thread in the first place...

Thanks very much @SaltyNZ; appreciate the regular updates and the honest and open communications around the issue; if I'm able to help with any future testing in any way, feel free to PM me.

Hi Team,

I am an iPhone SE 2020 user on 2 Degrees and am experiencing the same issue (duplicated text messages). As of yet their customer service has not been able to fix the issue. And I am a bit confused what the fix was from this thread?

Is there a solution available for this problem?

@shady136 basic fault checking does the same issue happen with your SIM card in another handset?

The fix back in 2024 was that 2degrees did some work on their system. I have not had the problem since.

@Linux Thank you for the reply - I am unsure. I only have the one phone to test it on.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

You could try resetting the handset and set it up again the issue was resolved on the 2degrees side last year

@Linux not a bad idea. I will see if I can resolve it another way, first. Then would I need to do a hard reset?
