Wow, there is a vast difference then in terms of the rates offered within Auckland. We are in Hobsonville, low user is 90 cents per day, and 30 cents per kWh.

Time to scare you.

I pay 17.11 cents per KwH with a daily charge of 59.10 cents before GST.

In Christchurch and so far my power company has yet to try and raise my rates.

Want to tell us who? Chirstchurch here also
