I don't see any changes to routing here when the upload goes down, IPv4 and IPv6 stays the same route...

Here's my data from yesterday till now..

Interesting upload dip at 12:30am-1:25am... Taking a sample every 2 mins, this is the akl1.linetest.nz endpoint

traceroute to akl1.linetest.nz (101.98.9.197), 30 hops max, 60 byte packets
 1  x.x.x.x.1  1.093 ms  1.247 ms  0.958 ms
 2  * * *
 3  101.98.5.117  11.759 ms  11.451 ms  11.129 ms
 4  101.98.9.197  10.665 ms  10.356 ms  11.373 ms

traceroute to akl1.linetest.nz (2404:4408:5:2910::1), 30 hops max, 80 byte packets
 1  xxxx::1 1.017 ms  0.852 ms  0.893 ms
 2  2400:4800::30  5.582 ms  5.525 ms  5.474 ms
 3  2404:4408:1::125  13.889 ms  13.840 ms  13.815 ms
 4  2404:4408:5:2910::1  13.765 ms  13.713 ms  13.658 ms

Whatever the issue was with my connection since Thursday afternoon appears to have been fixed overnight.
There were 3 outages between midnight and 2:30am this morning for a total of about 9 mins.
Since then upload speeds and latency have returned to normal.

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

I have a power cut today at home for most of the day so won't have results. Will need to retest once it comes back.

So, updated my sheet. Looking good BUT you can see when they seem to have started fixing the issue.

No idea why the 2degrees server speed tests are showing slow upload. It is definitely in the data but if I run one manually everything is fine. I'd therefore ignore the results from the 2degrees server.

Still no dips to akl1, seems they might be actually fixing this, nice!

Thanks heaps for letting us know!

Follow up question, when we call service desk is there a best way of doing it? How to describe it and to talk to?
