Excellent pricing TBH. For pre-pay, that's pretty good.

I still need to do some math to figure out if I can actually pay less for data than what I'm currently paying to Vodafone ($49/1GB).

I hope that my mum doesn't see this pricing... I have a CDMA phone that I'm trying to sell to her :P

LOL will you buy it back when they turn CDMA off?

Nzers are so reliant on txting.. Its because of the duopoly that VF and Telecom have created.. Overseas people just call and I can see where 2degrees is going with the 0.22/min on net calling rates.. Send a txt for $0.20 or just give em a call for $0.02 more?

Wondering if this will change people's behavior from primarily txting to making more phone calls

Two degrees website is back up but surprisingly it hasn't been updated with pricing.

Hit the nail on the head.  We all wouldn't have bothered developing our txt habit if it weren't for the absurd costs of calling that Vf and Telecom have been able to rort out of us for years.

You get tired of us Kiwi's always moaning.. I think they're missing the whole point here. Ah well... one thing I'd like to know is it 12 months or 6 months you have top up by to keep your number active?

Just a question, how much does VF and Telecom charge to send a txt to their network? Isn't it pretty close to the $0.09 2degrees are charging their customers?

Just don't call off-net then.

22c to landlines and 022, 9c to TXT off-net.

At those rates, who cares about per minute billing?

I use calling cards to call overseas for under 10c/minute to most locations and they don't bill per second either, but I don't care.
