Is one of the changes no longer offering a credit just for porting your number? Bummer for me. I guess I need to hope the port takes longer than 24 hours so I get the $24! :)

well sadly it didn't need 24 hours, i insert my new 2 degree around 5pm, then i registered it online and ported it over....

At 7pm, i see that my number has ported to 2degree straight away, however when I dial to my new ported number it is still on Vodafone Voicemail (as I have already taken out my Vodafone simcard)

Then leave it for a while

Re-checked around 11pm, dial my ported number, Vodafone voicemail gone!!! then send a text message on 300 and requested whether my ported number has been transfer over... Yes it is saying 0212xxxxxx is not currently an active number on our network

so i guess whether we would get $24 credit from 2degree, i think it will be a hard thing....

Same here. Strangely, both my phones are working. I can send a text to myself from my old phone/old SIM and it will arrive at my new phone/2degrees SIM as from my number. I can also call myself and the caller ID comes up as my number. Strange!

Still, seems the port has gone through so doubt I'll see my $24. They never did send me the text that the port was completed though, so who knows?

Yeah, seemed to take a while for VF to turn off the simcard whenever I ported over, so you can now use up all the credit on it quickly paying for parking etc, use an IOU etc ;)
