jjero: I love you 2degrees. Make the $40 plan have 100mb and I'm sold. With push email etc I use 50mb in about 10 days so its really not enough.

Or, please please please consider making a $10 data add on with 500mb! I don't need as much as 1gb but 50mb is too small.

Couldn't you just get the $29 one and get two of the $6 50mb data bundles each month for $41?

You'd get the bonus 100 minutes giving you 160 minutes or are you already factoring those in?

It's still not really good enough, I'm considering getting a second phone to savage VF's best mate offer.

2degrees: Thanks for the feedback.
We've worked hard since launch to bring New Zealand mobile users better value. And yep, we've had our ears open the entire time! Listening to what our customers, and people who aren't our customers, want from their mobile provider.

How about changing the pay monthly overage from a flat 44c/min to the same as the prepay "top up and get" rates i.e. 22c/min to 2deg and landlines, 44c/min to vodafone and telecom?

I was specifically directing that at jjero's post as that fits what he/she was after "Make the $40 plan have 100mb and I'm sold"

make a $19 plan with 30 minutes, 50mb data, 200 texts (or 1000, wont use over 100) and im sold. or is that hoping for too much, my monthly phone bill for 2d is only about $14 so not sure if i should go on the $29 plan

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

I agree that what we low users need is a low cost plan that just gives us what we use in prepay but without the hassle of having to remember to txt the orders for data, having to top up and setup the $10 2000txt thingy.

Reven's idea would appeal to me too

Hmmm, sort of like an Auto Topup?

iPad Pro 11" + iPhone 15 Pro Max + 2degrees 4tw!

Yes I know (and have it setup) but that only covers topping up your account not the txt and data packs which is the prime reason for switching to pay monthly, it's all taken care of

Actually, you'd only need one data pack as you'd already have 50mb included so that'd be $35 a month

No you're right. I was being silly, forgot about that when I was looking at the OP table. 29$ plus two $6 data bundles would work well for me then.

i have $180ish credit on my 2d account, its not really that im running low on credit, its that im pay per call/text, which is fine, just means im aware of this and am making fewer calls/texts.  buying a 100 min pack is a waste for me, since i dont use that much, same with the texts.

if im paying monthly i dont care about a call/txt/email then, ill probably end up spending more a month and using roughly the same amount, but im not worrying then.  mostly a mindset thing.

i know im a low usage customer, and you cant cater for everyone, im still happy with 2d :)

all i need is
50mb (needs data)
around 30 mins
around 100 txts
monthly cost.

for this "cheapskate pack" you could skip the free 100 minutes bonus for a year, but keep careover minutes :)
