(table from NBR)

2degrees has extended its range of one-month plans from one (it's $39) option to five (see table above). The new plans launch Wednesday.

Looking better and better.

Nice, throw in more data with that and I'll be happier, but the additional 50MB national data is pretty sweet. I hope that's an upgrade to the existing plan!

Hi all - it's national data so can be used in or outside our Mobile Broadband Zones. Also if you sign up for a Pay Monthly Plan before the end of December, you'll get a bonus 100 any-network calling minutes every month for 12 months.

Cheers
Bryony

Credit where it's due, 2Degrees have really come to the party as a credible 3rd operator in NZ and have done it in a sensible and thought out way.

Highly unusual business model for NZ ;)

Did you know that you can put that credit on to your account and and then move it to paymonthly?

yeah i know, but then that credit will only last 6 months, trying to make it last for another 11 months :)  the txts and mins are so cheap that i dont really need to buy packs or anything, only wish the free txts you get for topping up lasted a year.

Add to these new plans their fantastic customer service. You get to talk to proper people (Kiwis) who you can actually understand, they take any enquiry seriously, contact you back when they say they will and on top of that they do actually FIX the problem with as much urgency as possible. I have been a long term user of Vodafone and have recently ported across to 2Deg. The difference between the 2 is like chalk and cheese.
Many thanks 2Degrees...

I can't believe this isn't being discussed more and yet people are quite animated about the uninspiring Apple bore-fest.

Come on guys, you've finally got a credible (and reasonably priced) 3rd party in the market, now that's a good bit of news that deserves talking about
