I would like to know if they will be offering a shared data and sms allocation between multiple sims. I have a prepay sim in a GPS tracker, and would rather not have to worry about its ballance and have it just come from my phone that I use, and when I get another laptop so will need data when out, would like the same to happen there with it come from my allocation I have bought for the phone.

And ask when they will sort out that webportal thing too.

Foo: I'm keen to know where and when their data network is going to be extended to. I've heard Hamilton and Tauranga will be next, but keen to know when this may be. When do they foresee having coverage for the whole of New Zealand with their data network?

I've been confused by their recent advertising stating that their network now covers 97% of NZ.

As far as I'm aware, it always did as 2D + VF coverage = 97%, unless they have in the last 6 months built out a full network nationwide to match XT and VF footprints which seems very unlikely.

So - why advertise something as a new thing, when it's not.

Ha! Trilogy would be coming full circle! :-)

(Owner of Trilogy once owned the company that evolved into T-Mobile)...

iPad Pro 11" + iPhone 15 Pro Max + 2degrees 4tw!

These comments are my own and do not represent the opinions of 2degrees.

Have recently moved to 2degrees a few months ago and very happy, so no questions from me :)

Other than the usual wishes everybody has, for it to get even cheaper (particularly data... as that is the #1 reason I switched!)

But I know they're already doing their best I'm sure.

People were first told that they were only in the 4 centers, but they needed a better way to explain that they are 'everywhere'.

Question: Is 2Deg going to look at sorting their call center so that ppl in chch can work from home via remote call center software as it's not going to be possible to set up one big call center in town any time soon?

I understand there was going to be a call center in chch with 80 odd ppl.

freitasm: Folks, I was invited to attend a 2degrees event in Auckland, this 22nd March. I don't have a complete picture yet, but it will be some business update and more about trends.

I might have some time to talk to 2degrees CEO Eric Hertz. Post questions here if you want me to ask something, or just wildly speculate, as you are probably going to do anyway...

Sorry i know i am a bit late in posting this and hope you do read it before meeting.

Are 2D going to release anything simular to the femtocell service i have a few customers keen to change but there is to many dropouts in the service area.

Also something like handing IP calls from PABX straight into 2D for free, give them the bonus of picking up all mobile traffic because handover rules would end up being 02X because of so much number porting you would need to handover like that.

Thanks
David

I'd like to know if they plan to let us share packages among designated SIMs.

I'd like to buy a mobile broadband plan and share it between my iPhone, Data Stick and not yet purchased iPad. I'd even be fine with paying more than the normal $20 to do this.

But more importantly i'd like to know when they are going to allow us to put multiple SIMs on the one account, so i don't need to sign into 3 different my 2degrees instances to view my credit etc

+1 to this, I don't use the phone enough to warrant pay monthly even the $29.95 option and also don't want 1GB of data for $20 on prepay but if I could share that with my wife it'd be bang on.

Maybe add a bestmate type of free calls/texts to the shared account/SIM and I'd be a pig in you know what
