mattRSK: Just to confirm I need to get a 2D sim and activate that before porting my number over?
athor: Yea that makes sense.
So if i were to get that package, and 1gb mobile broadband, and left auckland for a weekend I would still have 50mb to roam with right?
ahmad:athor: Yea that makes sense.

Salty can hopefully answer that - I would hope that "Zone" data would be used up preferentially before Nationwide data does.

National packs can be used anywhere. Broadband packs are much larger and cheaper but are only valid in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch or Queenstown.
Other cities are coming as part of our expansion this year.

DUNEDIN PLEASE!!!
And this via 2 Degrees twitter concerning people that want to add on extras to the $19 package:
Can I buy additional packs to add on to the $19 package?
2degreesmobile
Yes you can. Normal rules apply:- Text and Talk Packs 1 per 30 days, Data packs as many as you need! Sweet! ^POB
Only 1 x $19 Combo Pack per 30 days but with the talk, text and data packs you can add even more value to your mobile buck! ^POB
NonprayingMantis:
so, to clairfy, I could buy the $19 plan, then buy the additional 100 mins for $30 and so pay a total of $49 per month to get 130 mins, 2000 txts, and 50MB data? (actually if I am topping up $50 then I would also be getting 500 more txts from magic topups)
Is that correct?
also, are the minutes here carryover minutes or not?

A
Yes, that's correct. The minutes are not carryover though. That's for pay monthly.
