JohnButt: TrueNet would be pleased to provide the results from monitoring by our probes for the weekend to show any differences. Problem is while we have a few snap probes we don't have many in the South Island.
Go to www.TrueNet.co.Nz to volunteer so we can measure Snap better :)

Hi John,
Did you manage to gather any data about the All you can eat Weekend and is there any where we can see it?
Cheers
Beccara: That a nice chart but really doesn't tell us anything. Sure the speeds stayed the same but that could be because nobody really used it or that have a bigger pipe than they need.
Without detail behind it telling us the speeds stayed the same doesnt tell us jack
Ragnor:
I assume the graph Jon posted is of the 300KB domestic download test the the TrueNet device does?

That's the point, each user (probe) didn't see much decrease as measured by TrueNet, so wasn't impacted much by everyone else leeching during the un-metered weekend. It shows Snap's network, traffic mangement and domestic/international transit handled the jandel.

hellonearthisman: Snap also Tweeted about it @more than 12
I am sure they would have emailed their users about the unlimited weekend offer.
