I'm not on the unlimited plan, but on the 150GB I couldn't even stream audio previews from iTunes without it constantly buffering, that's if it loaded at all. Speeds seem to be quite bad since they had that epic fail outage awhile back.

Twitch.tv is served by the Akamai CDN. We have raised a fault ticket with them. Will keep you posted.

More info, if you want:
-WoW ping is usually fine for me, regardless of background downloading, peak time, whatever. Today I'm constantly dropping out, 2K ping, etc.
-iTunes store doesn't connect.
-Usenet downloads are flakey, speed is up and down like a yoyo, usually it's maxing my connection during the day weekdays, and slower at night, todays just bad.

Speedtest is a poor reference for how your internet is actually performing, it's prioritised to make it seem like everything is fine and dandy.

Cant even finish a speedtest, so count yourself lucky.

And forget surfing the internet. Be quicker to make the webpages myself and upload them (My upload remains unaffected.. in fact is just about as fast as you see above)

oh here we go. Awesome.

Go figure? I thought that backhaul issues were a distant nightmare memory these days, I guess not if you guys are getting such varied service from me. That was while seeding at 25kB/s too

edit: and 1.3MB/s on a popular torrent off the cache, which is what makes the unlimited plan so worthwhile to me.

My downloads hit an all time speed record today at 1.4MB/s using IDM.

Speedtest reports 11.5Mb/s down, 0.9Mb/s up.

My monthly bill has just come in. I don't think I'm actually going to pay it at the moment until this is sorted out.

Not happy.

Aaroona: if you still have an issue it is specific to you, your dslam card or possibly exchange. I advise logging a fault through normal channels.
