Even if the sync rates dont change much, the cleaner line created by a master filter may reduce data errors as internet traffic goes through, so resulting in a more reliable connection. Means somebody could plug something into the other phone port by mistake without disrupting internet. If you are not on Naked DSL then might as well have that 2nd socket available for emergency use since you already have the master filter.




Time to find a new industry!

mattwnz: Is it worse in wet weather?


Our speeds drop to what the op,said on wet days. What exactly would be the cause of that. I have told slingshot several times and they just shrug it off saying it wouldn't affect anything.

Normal speeds I can watch 1080p youtube with no problem

Water in the copper cables or everyone online trying to do the same thing as you, Those cables are like the motorway the more traffic the slower it flows
