Peppery: Great app idea guys, genius even (I'll show myself out).

My only issues is that the verification code is case-sensitive but doesn't tell you that it is (rather just "expired/invalid code") & also the app mentions only one phone can be linked per Orcon account for free, while you state there isn't a limit?

Made a quick call, sounded pretty decent on iOS 7 over LTE.

Yeah its case sensitive, we did try and make the keyboards for each OS (IOS and Android) stay in uppercase for the activation code. We had another comment about this as well covering the use of O and 0, the latter being zero.
Ill bring this up see if we cant be more clear.

You can have unlimited free instances of the app, 1 free connected to your home phone and 4 more paid for a total of 5 connected to home. I am not sure on the price sorry ill check though.(I am more tech focused so didnt notice the price).

Thanks for the feed back, we want it all.

I had the opposite experience with the verification code. I saw it was in caps, assumed it was case sensitive, cursed you for making me fiddle with the shift key, then realised that it was automatically entering caps for me. So mission accomplished on Android 2.3.5!

However it did say something like "You will receive a text and the code will be automatically entered", which didn't happen for me. Could be because I use Go SMS rather than the default SMS app. Not a biggie.

Verification codes are better to be case sensitive making it harder makes it more secure for the end user protecting your data and information more

Yes its likely to be the SMS app you are using.
The experience you had is what IOS users get because we cant access the SMS on that...

The verification code is a One Time Password that is time limited as well.

Well done guys. My son has a Genius account so have passed this on to him. Wonder what the speech will be like on 3G. Should be good over WiFi and LTE..

3G Voice is fairly good, but obviously depends on how good your signal is and how much data that cell site is doing. So mileage will vary.

I was visiting at North shore hospital last night and my wife was using 3G to make calls. Worked really well for her, even in a busy cell area.

Weird... removed the test version etc I had, removed the profiles, downloaded official version from iTunes.
Now when my phone (iPhone 4, latest official iOS) locks itself, I get no notifications of messages - Soon as I unlock the phone, I then get the messages and notifications.

Seems that the app puts the message notifications on hold when the phones locked.

That is not how it works for me.
Are you sure you havent disabled notifications for it by accident?

Could just be an iOS 7 issue but in the Go app, in certain screens such as Contacts, the option buttons at the top have no text in them. They're tappable and take me to different areas of contacts, but have no writing at all. Same with Recents in the Calls menu.

I also have an iphone4, and I don't see this.

make sure you have notifications turned on and your DND Features disabled, or tuned right.

We haven't done much testing with IOS7 yet.

If you are having too many issues with the app and you consider it worthwhile downgrade to 6.1.x

Ios7 supports all previous api's but remember it is still a beta so there will be numerous bugs and issues which will get sorted with up comming beta releases until the gm version is released
