D1NZ:
Called today just to check if it's available for us here in Christchurch this morning, the guy answered the phone put me on hold and went to check.
2~3mins later he comes back saying YES it's available, right then I asked to upgrade to it, he said all good the e-mail has been sent to Enable and expect to be upgrade over next 5 to 6 days, and then he told me that will be $179/m, I was like wait a min, shouldn't it be like the promo price? He then said he can't see any notes on my account, went to check again, another 5mins later came back said it's all good and I am good to go.

From the many calls I made to Snap, there is even a few RSP told me they put down some note on my account, I was quite surprised he didn't/can't see any note.

Hopefully all goes well, becasue for the 200/20 upgrade I waited more than a week for it to happen.

Yeah, I don't know how they do their notes, but I think of those stick it notes that fall off after 5minutes and never to be seen again. I'll be keeping a close eye on what they charge me too.

I've had my Snap fibre install done yesterday but do not have a working phone line since the install.

I have sent several emails to Ralph asking to check my account but have not had a reply yet.  Can anyone else form Snap help me?

Also, my profile for my fibre install is set to 100/20 and it should be 200/20.

Thanks

Update: 18/11/2014

Received an odd e-mail from Enable today, within the e-mail it's a new UFB install Order. cry

And the order address it's not mine, called Snap asked them what's going on, looks like Enable had my e-mail mixed up with somebody else's

Enable got my e-mail right my first name and last name right, Snap RSP told me to e-mail them back tell them what happened, Done that.

Also asked Snap if my order of 200/200 went through, tech checked and told me the order has been done, hasn't seen any speed change on my upload yet tho.

P.S. 2nd UFB line for me, I will run it in fail over or load balance with my pfSense box. tongue-out
OKOK maybe redundant internet connection usually from different ISP still just daydreaming. tongue-out

Are snap still offering the $10 unlimited top-up deal?

I was thinking about it but 200/200 is not available for tauranga until later in the year so I thought I could get it then.

Never mind if it is all over, I'm in the second year of my contract now and I wasn't sure about signing on for another 24 mths given that the UFB competition is heating up.

Switched from 30/10 to 100/20 in the last few days, speedtest maxing out at 40mbps on the iPad, just on 50mbps is the best I've seen in pc (wired)

Is there anything I can check at our end as to what's going on?

Cheers

Hi sen8or

I've pushed out 100/20 settings to your Fritzbox again, can you give it a reboot and try another speed test

Cheers
