So my questions are

1) Will my credit expire after the first month

2) what is the default plan we are getting switched to?

3) Whats the cheapest prepay plan i can go on, (i am thinking $8 text and talk?)

1. Almost certainly: no (the prepay terms only mention the 365-day expiry.)

2. Prepay Plus (from Prepay Standard.)

3. None. You don't have to pick a "value pack", you can still just pay-as-you-use. It just costs a lot more (relatively) to do so ($0.20 per SMS instead of $0.09.)

Silly question, but how many of you low-users have a landline phone?

My mother has switched from a landline (the vodafone home wireless variety) to just the mobile phone, on a $19 prepay plus pack plus the international calling pack.  Total telecomms spend/mo: $29.  That covers her broadband too -- she's a low user on that front as well, so the 1GB/mo is more than enough for her.

I have VOIP and need it some of my friends live in low signal areas so the only way for or me to contact each other is via the landline and no I don't want to pay $20 a month + for something I spend $20 every 3 months on now
