I have sent through a support request via the website, as this seems to be happening more and more now (Or at least I'm noticing it more often).

@arnies You should log it via the help desk so you can get a fault ticket number and write it down!

Does logging from the website not do this? Surely they generate a ticket when they get to the inbound and we will have a number then.

I'd assume once they reply I will get a number. Maybe I can give them a call while I wait for a YT video to load 😄

BTW, trying to download Chrome seems to be a reliable way to test this behaviour...

Can confirm. My update this morning was painfully slow.

Currently getting ~280 KB/s sustained with wget on that Chrome download.

EDIT
Half the time it downloads at 80+ MB/s. The other half the time it downloads at pretty darned close to 280 KB/s.

enabled IPv6 - seeing the same issues as everyone else.

Just out of curiosity, do you have a static IP address?

I've been chatting with him (we're mates). He wasn't having issues on IPv4. Had him enable IPv6. He's now getting the same behaviour.

Seems like it may be an issue with 2degrees' IPv6 implementation (wouldn't be the first time I've had an issue), but it could maybe be something else over IPv6 too.

just chiming in to offer my +1, this seems to be an issue every couple of ipv6 sessions on 2d, doesn't happen at all on ipv4

I've disabled ipv6 many times in the past due to performance

I've noticed this across the last week or two. Problem disappears with IPv6 disabled.

Without IPv6 the .dmg downloads at approx 90MB/s constantly, with it enabled, I'm getting between 200 and 300KB/s max. Frustrating doesn't even really begin to explain this.
