c0ld: I know previously it's got better for a few hours only to get worse again but seems back to full speed now.

iPlayer 60Mbps download which is what it was before the issue.

Fingers crossed!

Seems to be worse during peak viewing hours

Yes but previously it would have stopped working again by this time of day however still going strong. The advisory notice also confirms that cable work has been completed. I'm confident we're back to normal now.

Linux:

@Spong every single ISP has outages from time to time end story and this routing issue is not 2d but a upstream provider

The call quality issue cross-net is not acceptable and very close to being sorted

The problem is 2degrees has not acknowledged either of these problems and even blatantly said there is "no issue" with the call quality issue then stopped replying. Any attempts to report either issue to the contact centre literally results to "have you tried turning it off and on again" - they were once very open both on here and on their outages page but this has changed over the past couple of years. I do miss the transparency, fairness and innovation that 2degrees once had in the past. The 2degrees back then is not the 2degrees now.
