' Repeat every month ' will still only let me set max data sharing of the base limit of my plan but hey they still could be working on the issue
Yes, it's being worked on. :-)
iPad Pro 11" + iPhone 15 Pro Max + 2degrees 4tw!
These comments are my own and do not represent the opinions of 2degrees.
I have had a rep assigned to me from 2degrees (Matt) after my complaint to the TDR and they have just responded that you can't share carryover data
Please lord help me this is the 4th staff member that has told me you can't share carryover data
If anyone is interested in this on the 2degrees side case# CS0096643
As outlined in our current terms and conditions:
This means that while your total data balance may include a significant amount of carryover data, the amount available for sharing is now limited to the base plan’s included data allowance. This change reflects a shift in how data sharing is structured.
I can pick up my phone right now and share my carryover data!
Why is it so difficult for 2degrees staff to understand how this feature works!

What the hell, sounds like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing there now?!

So are you saying your phone is sharing carry over data, even though the Terms and conditions say you can't do that.
Mine was the reverse. Carryover data didn't seem to be accessible (this month where may have been previously - I can't tell) and the CSR i had (and the conditions you quote) seem to say this is not possible.

@Davidcole the terms and conditions don't say that it is like staff members make them up or something as they go along
Yes the sharing of carryover data is working again only thanks to @SaltyNZ as he raised the issue with the correct team that got it working again
Try sharing data now from the 2degrees App and you can allocate up to max of what you have available including the carryover data. Do not enable ' repeat every month '
If you have open plan sharing then it should now consume past the active plan allocation?

I think one problem, over and above the system change mentioned before, is there are multiple documents that speak to the topic on their website and they circularly reference each other so it's hard to tell. One of them may imply you cannot share the Carryover portion, but uses different language.
