Purple??? Wouldn't that be a Orcon one haha, have you got a PIC, I've only seen red VF SIM's. Is it special or just new?

lol, I used to have a yellow one untill a faulty phone I had got diagnosed wrongly and I ended up buying a new SIM as a result and still end up sending that phone away. :(

Nope, 128K. Was lucky I got a new one when I did, vodafone was doing a promotion when I brought mine so I got the TXT2000 addon free for 3 months. Got them back for having to get a new number. I also was going to get a replacment SIM, but no store had the Blue replacements.

In the NBR article (#1 on Wikipedia) in regards to 7 August Launch date: "2degrees says 'don't believe everything you read in Wikipedia'", here's hoping they're just playing coy.

That "scoop" was posted on Geekzone at the same time...

To be fair they seem to have posted the rumour before the official statement.

According to a number of sources I saw (CommsDay and Computerworld), the media release (which you posted) was issued as a result of Computerworld inquiring about the Wikipedia page.
