TinyTim: My port took less than 90 minutes... all working!

hmm.... We may have to look at a promo to reward New Zealand's fastest number port.....will type it up in triplicate and give to the marketing team.

Seriously, we're pleased to hear via this forum that the porting process is working well for our customers.

Last one I did from VF to 2degrees was less than a commercial break in time before it was starting to work, and not much longer before calls were going to the 2 degrees phone not the vodafone one.

SteveON: Nah it was something called toybox...

Steve's on the money....welcome Toybox...a new addition to the 2degrees family of products.

We have launched Toybox on our wap portal today.  However, to access Toybox, you need to make sure you have the right settings in your handset:

APN = 2degrees
Wap Gateway (Proxy IP) = 118.148.1.118
Proxy Port = 8080

If you use these settings and go to m.2degreesmobile.co.nz, you’ll find the link to Toybox.  Note that by using these settings you can also get your prepay balance very easily too!

The iPhone is not supported and neither is the Opera Mini browser but most other handsets should work just fine if you have the settings configured correctly.

Cheers!

I am glad this isn't in a PR... it's either super slow or doesn't work on my e63

Yep, it works on Android devices...

Is there any free traffic? For example, checking your balance, or just opening the homepage?

I would have thought 3G was more important...

Hi Mauricio - it's all charged at the casual rate. However, the data used to download any content purchased from Toybox is not charged.

Thanks
