gehenna: Could just be an iOS 7 issue but in the Go app, in certain screens such as Contacts, the option buttons at the top have no text in them. They're tappable and take me to different areas of contacts, but have no writing at all. Same with Recents in the Calls menu.

We haven't done much testing with IOS7 yet.

If you are having too many issues with the app and you consider it worthwhile downgrade to 6.1.x

Ios7 supports all previous api's but remember it is still a beta so there will be numerous bugs and issues which will get sorted with up comming beta releases until the gm version is released

And even then we havent tested it yet so something may not be right...

It's definitely usable, don't get me wrong, and I'm fully aware that iOS 7 is a beta and all that goes along with it.

Just thought I'd let you know as whatever happens you'll need to resolve any iOS 7 bugs within the next couple of months in time for public release.

I can certainly handle a bit of missing text until then :)

Cool.
Thanks for letting us know, we have another on IOS 7 user on here as well so we really appreciate the feedback:)

Who knows you may be getting an update to test on IOS7 a little later...

Good to know only 1/2 your voice platform is down this time rather than the normal of it all being down

This seems to have broken my voip connection.

Ran the app. Can make outgoing calls.

Can get anything incoming.

If I call my landline number from another landline I just get a disconnected tone.

One thing to note which may be an issue... I don't currently have the genius modem running at home. I've using my Cisco SRP527w.  It is now failing to register a VOIP connection so have deactivated the VOIP registration. Have been running this setup for months with no issues.

If i'm getting a disconnected signal when calling from another landline is something broke at Orcons end?

Why is there a charge to add a second mobile to Orcon Go? Seems a bit strange when most households would have multiple mobile phones. Both my girlfriend and myself pay for our Orcon service (and live at the same address of course) so why can't we both install the app for free?

I can understand that Orcon want to stop several households sharing the same phone number for the one price, but I personally don't see why anyone would want to do this anyway.

How about letting at least two mobiles connect for free if address details could be confirmed?

Are you still getting that?
Have you confirmed that the same user details are used to access myorcon?

Sorry have to ask.

Is the intention of this app to just be an extension of the genius unit or can it be used as your primary landline phone?
e.g using a router with no VoIP ports/ability and all landline calls find their way to the app?

Of course keeping your phone charged up will be the main thing to watch

You can do that now :-) Just don't plug a phone into your router and only answer your app.

just curious, don't telecom, vodafone and 2degrees say you can't use VOIP over cellular data in their terms and conditions usually?
