Finally got a number on one SIM. No hurry to sort the other out until they open more number ranges. Site still slow with a number of 500 errors amongst others. What a mission!

is the information not available an error or does it mean the number is taken??

I think that means that the number you are trying to get in invalid. Is it 0220XXX?

Do whatever you want to do man.

The site will be under the hammer, try later. I know it's a pain but everyone has the same idea and then you get a go slow site.

3g: Site is running very slow (and when I saw a java stack dump showing that they are using liferay, it certainly explained a lot!).

But I did manage to score a personalized number (very happy again!).

Actually, you can tell it's Liferay by the 42 javascript files on every page.

Why did they choose such a slow site? Get a better host or something, this might as well be a DoS attack. lol

It loads so much crap from the site that its not suprising that its slow - my sock proxy showed a massive number of connections on load (was doing that since I thought my IP may have been blocked for trying too many times).

My first go at getting the password, logging in, changing it, registering for $3 and then doing the port went without a hitch, the second is just giving errors to try again later.

My partner was able to port her Vodafone number in under 10 mins at about 1am this morning. So when it works it works well. Before that you could not even get on to register. Way to many people hitting the site.

When you say "port...in under 10 mins" do you mean complete the online form and submit it or do you mean the number was actually ported in that time frame (and at that hour!)?

I think he means she was able to fill in the online form in under 10 minutes. In my case earlier in this thread I managed to do it in under 5 minutes and the message I got is that it could take a whole working day to complete.
