That or else if you find out that you really really need the vodafone FW, then a work around would be to find someone who is already on vodafone and get their stock rom (using the methods outlined in this thread earlier) and update yours.. its a long way around.. but atleast a way around to you using the vodafone specific rom and so you get vodafone updates..

Fair enough, so as long as you mates that have the Vodafone firmware don't have something you don't have (I mean in their phones lol) then you then start going after a Firmware change. Other than that, you can tell start bragging about how your phone supports Touch2Pay and you don't even use that feature lol

Your phone at the moment is the third option from the top. It's not an app, if you want to use your phone "As a snapper" but there is the snapper APP that you can use at the moment to display and topup snapper cards using your phone ;)

It's kinda of a blessing to have that firmware, and I won't imagine the Vodafone one to be any different at all except for the Touch2Pay support.

So you might get even luckier if 2degrees gets their FW update tested and approved before Vodafone ;) and I also have a gut feeling that Touch2Pay is going to join Vodafone soon.

Nevermind, I just read on the 2degrees network that you need a snapper microsim. Well, if vodafone does the same thing, maybe it'll work just by getting a new snapper simcard from vodafone. I guess time will tell. I guess I was trying to sort out any issues now rather than 3 or 6 months from now when the tech comes out.

So, now since Samsung has released JB for Galaxy S III, does 2degrees have an ETA on when we should be able to get it?

If 2Degrees have already given their approval to the JB ROM that they got for testing from Samsung, then it depends on Samsung as to when they seed it for us..

And if 2Degrees still havent given their approval as such.. I hope they hurry with it..
