Actually, would be useful if someone explained the switchover process from Telecom line / Slingshot broadband to "Just Broadband" ie Ndsl. I asked slingshot cust service at signup and got a fudge reply - oh we'll let you know. No news of course.
And then on New Year's eve some telecom Chorus contractor leaves a note in our mailbox to say "i was here to install a broadband line" without calling. Does this have anything to do with switching to nDsl -is he here to splice wires or? - and if so will it mean that once he has popped by we will have no dial tone and no broadband until slingshot follows up?

Mystifying. And money matters - when will we be switched to 79.95 for just broadband and when will telecom stop billing us - i have a sneaking suspicion that all these billing dates will overlap and make 1 month of phone charges cost twice as much...?
