raab: I think slingshot should be focusing on their current infrastructure and how bad their offpeak speeds are than investing in an unlimited plan.
I don't know why ISP's think unlimited is good. How about offering decent sized 100-200GB plans instead?

you must be holding it wrong as I get great off peak speeds and have noticed that they have been getting faster over the last few weeks. fs/128kbps (6hour of free data period) and I can get around 4GB a night, that about a GB more than last month a night.
Last 8 days I got 29.38GB of free data and could have got more, but couldn't find anything interesting.
Slingshot freedata periods are not that slow.

I consider that to be slow, and the fact that I get about the same speeds when paying for data isnt really helping.
When I only have a 3 megabit sync, I exepct THAT should be the bottleneck, not slingshots underprovisioning.

scottr:
You consider that to be slow? That's like 180kB/s., I consider that pretty reasonable for a free data period considering every man and his dog will be going for gold.

When they claim to have a cache to accelerate p2p and that is what you are doing, yes, slow.
