Are you checking the IMS status? (Settings > General > About - tap on the carrier bundle 2degrees 47.0)

If you explicitly turn VoLTE on in the phone settings, it will work even though it will warn you first. I've been using it on mine for months.

IS there any indication in the top bar that VoLTE is active?  Something like 2Degrees VoLTE ??

IF not then ive had volte for ages and didn't even know it as I haven't noticed any improvement on the AM sounding call quality for years.

The only way you can tell on iOS is if data doesn't switch from 4G to 3G.

No. The only indication is that with VoLTE off, when you make a call you will see your network indicator switch from 4G to 3G and then back again when the call is complete. With VoLTE active, it will remain on 4G during the call.
