My gigabit connection can't break 20Mbps tonight. It's taken 10 minutes to download an 85MB file!

The particular issue in this thread was isolated to Wellington and has since been resolved. Your issue looks like a new one.
Mod should lock this thread.

Anyone else noticed some performance issues in the evening in the last week? I have experienced some buffering on streaming services. I have done any testing yet

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

I keep getting speeds going through the floor in the evenings on 2D GB fibre as well.

currently ongoing - speedtest is telling me I am getting circa 100mb down and 50mb up. Ping is 2ms

Router and ont rebooted, but persists.

This is probably the 3rd time in the last 7 days. Was working fine during the day today.

Could be isolated - haven’t seen any issues. I regular monitor speed and latency and nothing abnormal showing.

Wifi issues/interference?

Also on 2D GB fibre (static IP) in Auckland. Everything been fine for me. I log to Prometheus and its pretty constant for the last 30 days.

Testing wired from desktop PC so not wifi!

I have static IP also.

Weirdly I can't login to my Broadband account page either - just get "login failed" when I try.

Very noticable as my speeds are usually so good and so consistant - easy to get used to it as "normal"!
