Some progress, the number porting system at least is up.
I have done the form, just before 0900 hrs.
Now have to wait for a text, then wait for a call from customer service.
Will update when I receive either!

Have now received two texts, but not yet the phone call.
0951 - Time to top up? 2degrees Magic Top Up gives you extra stuff every time you top up...
1035 - Welcome to Your2degrees. Your temporary password is xxxxxxxx. Use that to log on, then set up your own password that you can easily remember.

I would, but Your2degrees is of course still unavailable.

Hey. Have you checked the voicemail for your existing 021 number? I'd been patiently waiting for the call back with my 2degrees SIM sitting in my one phone (yeah old skool I know only having one phone).

I thought I'd check if I had any messages on my VF voicemail and sure enough, the 2degrees guy had tried to contact me on that number.

I thought this might happen. You get the text with your password on the 022 number, but then the follow up call on the 021 number ?? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me...

Oh I hope they are not ringing me on the 021 number, the sim card is on my desk, not in my phone. I have voicemail disabled on VF, presumably they will then try on the 022 number.

They call you on the landline number if your supplied one, but if you don't answer they try your 022 number

The guy said it can take up to 48 hours to port your number but they have had some go through in 1 hour

Cmon baby! im on the escape from Vodafone home stretch!

I hope they dont do some irreversable actioning before calling, since I have now got my chinwag sim and the number on its not as good as the dse number so would rather port to that.

The site is back with the following:

"And? Jeff?s done it! We?re now doing the final polish job on ?Your 2degrees? ready for Friday.

So, if you want to bring your number over to 2degrees and you haven?t already submitted a request, hold off until Friday 14th when ?Your 2degrees? will be up and running again.

If you?re looking to change your 022 number to one that?s a bit more you, you?ll be able to do that too. The number range available is 0220 xx xxxx and we?ll be opening up other ranges soon.

When ?Your 2degrees? gets turned back on, it?s likely that EVERYONE is going to try and access it at the same time. That means we might have a bit of a rush hour traffic jam. So if it starts to run slow, our advice is: be patient, avoid road rage and possibly travel to the website a little later in the day."
