2degrees: Hi there,

A small number of ports are failing due to incorrect data and there are others that are sitting in a queue due to limitations in the system owned by the Telecommunications Carriers Forum that manages the porting process for NZ.
We are working through all of the port requests, but ask that you don't try and port the same number twice.
Once the port has been confirmed you will get a message from us confirming it has been successful.

Cheers!
2degrees

I still hadn't heard anything despite requesting the port around midnight on Friday. Just spoken with a csr who confirmed it is underway though but will take up to 2 business days due to the number of customers trying to port.

It would be nice to recieve a confirmation txt, call or email that the port request had been recieved. This would stop people trying to port multiple times when they don't know what is going on. A little communication would go a long way.

When you go through the porting process on Your 2degrees and complete all the steps you end up with an end frame on the website that says the porting request has been received. It is here that you are given a reference number which you can use to track the request.
It also says that the porting process should complete within one business day, however there are some dependencies on your previous network provider.

Cheers!

One of my main gripes is that when trying to enter all of my details to obtain the free $3 account top up, I get to "enter address" and the button is not responsive..in fact there's no hyperlink at all, just a graphic for checking your address - I can't even complete it manually, which is more than a little painful.

Basically I can go no further.

Come on, 2D, you're starting to look loke Jetstar!!!!!

When you get to the section where you are asked: Where should we send things? The form asks you to fill in your street number and then just to the right of this you will see a blue circle which says FIND ADDRESS. Click on this circle and it will open up another form called ADDRESS SEARCH. You enter your street name where it asks you to SEARCH BY STREET DESCRIPTION click GO and it will give you a list of all the streets/roads/ crescents etc in New Zealand that have the same name. Select the street and area where you live and once you close out of this form you will see that the address details have been automatically populated.

Cheers!

That circle just sits there with no hyperlink...just a gif/jpg or whatever - can't go any further than that. It's not clickable.

Dan the blue button is working and we have tested it on numerous operating systems.
As we don't know what system you are operating can you please call the call centre on 0800 022 022 to get them to manually enter your details or alternatively email them at info@2degreesmobile.co.nz

Cheers

fat load of good the form does when your labels end up a mess like this which is probably why so many have not made it to their destination,

2 degress bad address labels

When will you accept postal addresses rather then only physical ones? If you cant post me a letter by the time you get contracts then its unlikly that I would go with you since I would seldom get bills. Particually when your label printer is setout to make seriously messed up labels.
