Ok - so I got the blue button to work on my Nokia phone, but not on my computer - which is running XP Pro & IE6. None of which I can change as it's my work PC - owned by a multinantional.

When using the nokia, it'd only let me choose from a handful of addresses - all in Onerahi. Sealed

Will attempt to change my address from home some time to se if it works then.

Both!

But anyway, I realise Dan can't do anything about his work PC.  I'm hoping though that with Windows 7 being released that companies will be forced to finally upgrade and we can say goodbye to that 30% IE6 marketshare...

Upgrade to Win 7 is fine if your PC has drivers .  Most PC over say 3 years old won't..

3 years is the life of a corporate PC - still doesnt change the fact that 2degrees have tried to make a website thats too smart for its own good and most people have regarded it as a universal fail.

My vf number is still not ported, now three full business days. I was told it should be done by yesterday afternoon when I talked to cs yesterday morning, guess not.

Now on hold with them to find out what is going on, 17 minutes and counting.......

We have 2 numbers waiting to be ported, one started last Thursday using the online form then 2degrees rang on Friday to say it would be "up to" 2 business days. And the second done online last Friday.
Rang up yesterday to chase them and the first one hadn't been put through despite the call from them saying it had! The second one was in a long queue of up to 5000 ports waiting to happen.

Had text yesterday on 2nd number saying porting was under way and would be done by the end of Friday (hmm, isn't that 4 working days?)... still waiting... and if it's done by then it will have only taken a whole week (not sure I believe those who say they have ported within an hour).
First number still waiting for text to say it's on its way.
Apparently the Vodafone Pre-Pays go through quicker too.... that's what ours both are.
We'll just carry on waiting, no rush 2degrees, it's not like we're sat with no credit on our VF sims and having to txt everyone saying ignore this number, we're still waiting for our number to be ported to 2degrees, and then switching back to our VF sim 4 or 5 times a day to check for missed calls and texts.
I so want 2degrees to work but my interest is rapidly declining.

p.s. also logged two issue on the website and heard nothing.

I actually did 2 ports of my Vodafone on account number because I was in another thread and a person in there said his port took about 10 minutes and I had done my first one on Friday night and nothing happened so I thought with the website up and down as it was it might have gone down when I tried to port so I tried again on Saturday morning and without word of a lie I got a reply text about 15 minutes after to say the port was completed and sure enough I could make and receive calls with my VF number on 2 degrees

Now been on hold for 52 minutes, not good enough 2degrees.

I am going to give up shortly.

Like the post above I topped up $30 credit last week when I requested the port and do not want to purchase any more credit from vf only for the port to go through an hour later.

I have also missed out on a weeks cheap calls and texts via the magic bonus you get when topping up.

What would really be magic would be 2 degrees either hiring more cs staff to answer the phone or sending a few emails out, even a post on the site to let customers know how long the porting process is taking would help.

I requested a vodafone prepay port on saturday afternoon online, and it still hasnt been done. I rang Monday night and they said it should happen around Wednesday. Then I got a text saying it should be done by Friday. I also have no credit left on my vodafone prepay. I dont want to put the 2degrees sim in, because then I'll miss calls. However, I still have 11mb of traffic from an old addon, so I'm able to browse and msn a bit while I'm around, so I'm not TOTALLY stuffed. :)

Oh, I rang them at 3.30am the other day and they picked up immediately. Not ideal, but I was having an all night code session so there you go.

I knew there would be initial glitches with the new service, so I decided not to put the new sim in until after I got back from a recent holiday.. and now I'm very glad. I seem to have missed 2/3 of the crap!

Edit: I forgot to mention.. they said on Monday when I rang them that they had received over 12,000 port requests in the past 3 days (since Saturday), and thats why they were overwhelmed.. I dont know if this is new information for the forum, but I found it interesting anyway.

Done an IOU on it at all? That should see you thru a few more days of use.
