Hi

What is Email aliases? I thought it was a mail redirection where I could create a snap email address and have it forward emails to my gmail account.  However when I created a test address it didn't work (unless it takes a period of time to activate the new snap email address?).

You will need to make a @snap.net.nz address first that is not a alias.
Then you can add an alias for that address to a gmail / hotmail / live / domain address etc.

I believe that's how it works anyway.

Actually I might be wrong there,

It's been awhile since I did anything with it.

I think you can get a domain that MX's to Snap IE mydomain.co.nz and and an alias for that to a snap.net.nz box.

Basically you can create an alias to go to any address, be it your main Snap address or an external address, Gmail, iCloud, etc..

It can take up to 15ish minutes for the changes or additions to take effect. If it's completely not working for you, definitely ring our helpdesk on 0800 276 232 7am - 11pm Monday - Friday and 8am - 8pm in the weekends!
