Just received the latest orcon account and it has gone from an average of $100 per month to almost $200.
I asked them to go on the new Genius Broadband plan (previously on old Genius plan) and the agreed from  May 23rd however they now seem to be charging me for broadband twice hence the double up. Have been on hold for 40 odd minutes now and are getting "sorry for the wait we will be with you as soon as possible" routine
If i dont get this resolved pretty quickly I will be looking to dump them. It means that I will have to pay some form of get out of fee I guess since I made the mistake of not paying for the modem and ended up with some commitment till next year. Still it might be worth it.
Whoops someone just answered and after explaining it all to operator they agreed that I have been incorrectly charged and a credit will be put through.
Trouble is I have been down this road before and it never happens. Will be interesting to see if they manage to get it right this time

Anyone else that switched to new Broadband packages having problem with their latest bill?

My data plan was modified and Ive received a huge bill (3x what I think it should be)...being sorted now. Think someone hit the "bill now" button a few too many times ;)

If you can flick me a PM with your username I'll double check it and make sure it goes through okay. My apologies for any confusion.

Cheers,

Cam

I got overcharged aswell changing to the 200gb plan.  They said they would apply a credit but there must be a bigger billing issue since it seems quite a few people have had this occur

Anyone heard back from Orcon yet re overcharging. I have had two conversations with them and all I can find out is they have sent a note to the accounts team (whatever that means) I cannot see my account on line goodness knows why. Most firms have ability to examine account charges on line but Orcon only have the last statement so I have to wait a month before I find out if they have fixed problem. Of course if the have not then I will be faced with a large bill next time which is not acceptable.

Yup I am dealing with a $600 over charge ( over 3 months)  , it was complicated to even work out the level of over charge but I found out they were billing me for 2 ADSL lines when we only have one, only ordered one.
They are strangely silent and unresponsive to my complaint .

I signed up for Orcon's $75 promotional deal (40gb/month +landline +1000gb extra data) and was billed $134 for a total of 35 days (this works out to be $115/month). Also, I used a total of 21GB last month (according to my router and even Orcon's daily usage history), yet somehow 43.32GB of my 1000GB had already been used.

I called last Friday (note:30 minute queue) and was told it would be fixed, but my invoice still shows $134. I have also sent 3 emails to them regarding these problems and have not received a single reply, Thankfully, my 1000GB data was reset, but it's still concerning how inaccurate their meters are.

Kinda regret agreeing to their 2 year contract right now :\

p.s. Is George FM's live stream zero rated data working for anyone?
