Hi there, is there any way to get snapper working on this setup? The snapper app can't see the simple card and a balance check at WelTec didn't detect it.

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried it with stock ROM?

Yeah, worked a beauty. Had it on launch. It was a dse 2degrees suckered one. I just don't like touchwiz ux as its far to slow and memory intensive.

It's got no possible way of working because CM9 doesn't feature the SIM Alliance Open API for NFC.

As said, you have to use stock ROM because of the API.

Is it possible for a developer to add this api? Or is it closed source?

It's not just the API - it's also a matter of supporting the SWP for communication between the secure element (UICC/SIM in this case) and the NFC chip.

NFC is likely to be a major stumbling block for 3rd party developers such as the CM9 project. It wouldn't surprise me if they never have support due to the security aspects involved.

Damn, any way of removing touchwiz ux from stock? I will miss the snappyness of cm9.

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Free setup code: R587125ERQ6VE. Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

You can't remove Touchwiz from stock.  You can prevent the launcher part from loading by running an alternative launcher, though (I use Apex launcher).
