My son (aged 11) has a number of lines like the following in his 2degrees usage:

17 Jun 201210:30:25 AMSMSp288011$ 5.00
I assume that it is a premium sms that cost $5.00 a time, quick count shows seven of these this month.

He says he has not signed up to anything.

On the 2 degree website found a document 'Premium SMS list 22-7-2011', This  document does not contain  the 2880 number.

How to I stop this plundering of his account?

Firstly try unsubscribing. If that does not work let us know, because that is a BIG no-no and we will take it up with the provider. After that, if no joy, PM me the number. I have an experimental feature -- which I do NOT guarantee as it has not been properly QAed -- that should stop them.

iPad Pro 11" + iPhone 15 Pro Max + 2degrees 4tw!

2880 is listed on the Vodafone premium SMS list and will very likely be the same provider
