I'm looking at buying this Sony Xperia Arc S and have been trying to make sure it works on 2 Degrees network. I'm confused about whether HSDPA 900/2100 and the WCDMA/HSPA+ 2100 MHz mentioned in this thread are the same thing...

With 2 Degrees complicated arrangements with Vodafone and Broadband Zones etc I'm hoping to confirm that this phone has the right specs to connect to all of the different phone and data networks around the country used by Vodafone/2 Degrees.

The short answer is, if it has the above, yes.

iPad Pro 11" + iPhone 15 Pro Max + 2degrees 4tw!

These comments are my own and do not represent the opinions of 2degrees.

It is not complicated at all, if your phone works on vodafone, it will work on 2degrees.
